This place has a decent lunch buffet for about $13 per person plus tax and tip. They had a good variety of curries and non curries. They also had papadum and naan which is great as well as free chai. Their paneer was tasty and I thought the manchurian vegetables were good. Very rich flavors overall. Chai was a nice sweetness too. The curries are pretty spicy though and my whole table was suffering! But the raita yogurt helped a bit. I think they could tone the spiciness a bit but maybe that's how it's supposed to be?

This is my go to joint for biryanis. The Chicken 65, Veg 65 and the avakai (spicy pickle) biryani are really good. They seem to have made some changes to their biryani menu recently. Most of these joints give you a discount for paying with cash. Just ask! The quantity is good for 2. I prefer take out. Wait times might vary based on the time of the day but its mostly 15 min.

The Chicken 65 biryani here is really really good. They definitely do not skimp out on the chicken which is really well fried and not overly soggy despite being drenched in sauce. The rice is super flavorful and not overly dry as some biryanis are susceptible to being. It's got a pretty decent kick and goes perfectly with a generous helping of raita. And they give you enough raita to go with the entire dish without having to ration it, which is always a plus in my book. We did ask about some of the pictures of food on their menu, and they told us that they just pull them off of Google Images and don't actually serve them haha. So that's a little sketch, but since the food is delicious, I've got no complaints

Yummy south Indian food! Bae and I came here for the lunch buffet and Sree Biryani Palace is definitely the best in town. Sree Biryani is located in a shopping center around the Bel-Red area. The exterior looks outdated but once inside, the place has comfy leather booths, updated floors and a full bar in the back. It's inviting and they've put TLC into the place. In fact, next door is a venue space where during our visit, there was a birthday party going on. The party space and dining area had easy access to where the buffet was. Buffet had a good variety of south Indian entrees, vegetarian and non-veggie. Since the dishes are mostly south Indian, the heat was there! I love spice, but even for me, the spice had me gulping down water. The owner noticed that my boyfriend and me were working our way through the spicy dishes, so came by our table with a bowl of yogurt to cool off, and told us which dishes were the spiciest and those not so much. Throughout our time there, the owner was personable and friendly, and literally went around every table to make conversation with everyone. Absolutely the best customer service of any Indian restaurant in Bellevue! And the food was awesome! Of all the dishes I tried I really liked the Goat Curry, which the owner said was the spiciest dish. Goat was tender and though there were pieces of bone in it, it was easy to take off, unlike some other goat curries I've had elsewhere. But the curry itself had so much wonderful, earthy flavor! I also highly recommend the Chicken Biryani here. It was by far one of the best I've had, with juicy, tender chicken pieces and the rice was very flavorful with hints of different herbs. They also had chicken skewers, which I haven't seen before at a buffet, and they were very juicy, with a lemon flavor. For something lighter, it was delicious! Heck, even the mango dessert was one of the best desserts at an Indian buffet I've had! It was exactly what I needed to cool off, like a lassi. For anyone who likes south Indian curries and doesn't mind spice, eat at Sree Biryani Palace! Delicious variety of food with the friendliest owner!

My Indian coworkers highly recommended the Biryani here. So today after a team outing, they brought us here for dinner. Family style - we ordered chili chicken and Gobi Manchurian (Indo-Chinese style deep fried cauliflower) for appetizer. For entrees we ordered two baskets of naan (not sure which kind), old Delhi butter chicken, Amaravati chicken curry, Chicken 65 Biryani, and Hyderabadi Dum Biryani (bone-in chicken Biryani). For drinks we ordered lassi. We really wanted to try their Badam (almond) milk and rose milk but they didn't have any. Everything was super delicious. My favorites are the old Delhi butter chicken with the naan, and the two biryanis - properly seasoned and steamed, presented with beautiful colors and great flavors sealed inside. The chili chicken and the gobi Manchurian were delicious too. The Amaravati chicken curry tasted wonderful until I accidentally picked up a pickled vegetable hidden in the curry. It was the most salty bite I've ever had... ruined my good impression of the curry. The lassi was delicious as usual! My coworker wanted us to try the spicy kingfish dish today, but the chef was not in so they couldn't cook it :( Overall a delicious dinner! And it was incredibly cheap - the huge dinner plus a Biryani to-go turned out to be ~$22 post-tax post-tip per person.

Good lunch buffet for only $10.99. There were 3 different Biryani in the buffet line today. They had variety of vegetarian dishes and enough meaty dishes for the meat eaters. I think this place can satisfy both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Some of the foods were great and some were just ok. Overall, it's really worth the money. Especially if you are new to Indian food and want to try many dishes. They also had different desserts and some fresh fruits in the line. I really couldn't complain much about the food here. I also liked that some of their curries are quite spicy. I had a bunch of mild curries in another Indian buffet place before, and it's hard to enjoy very rich food without some kick of spiciness!!! These are the stuff I liked from today. 1. buttered chicken-- very delicious, rich and creamy. Too good to believe it's on the buffet line. 2. Eggs curry--very good with biryani 3. Nan dip with Paneer curry, The nan was not make to order like some buffet I had before, but they were warm and tasted ok. I which I did not eat too much rice so I can eat more of these. The paneer curry was very mild but tasty. 4. The yellow grilled chicken, not sure about the name. It tasted similar to the yellow chicken dishes in Thailand. I had biryani first time in my life today. The biryani did not have much taste to it. You have to eat them with curry or something. The service was great and the buffet line was clean. Only one downside is the restaurant was quite dark inside. I am not sure why but almost all of them seem to be dark inside.

We were just wandering around looking for some kind of good meal on this Friday night. After seeing the long line at Gyu-Kaku, we decided to try out Biryani Palace. The restaurant recently opened "ADDA Pub and Eatery" inside itself and had a sign promoting their happy hour and Bollywold DJ. I loveee bollywood music and the BF loves boryani so the decision was made. The place was surprisingly sparse for a Friday night and sadly no Bollywood DJ tonight (it was only at their grand opening and potentially future parties, bummer), but that was fine. Nice wood and booth seating, dark lit intimacy, bar in the back, TV playing HGTV above. The menu was varied with everything from hot and sour soup to prawn appetizers to fried fish appetizers to chicken 65 biryani to classic curries. Prices are the best I've seen for an Indian sit-down restaurant. I got the Curry Taco ($5) with bahji (mixed curry veggie) filling and chicken hot and sour soup ($4). BF got the chicken 65 biryani which was only $8 and came with raita and a cardamom tasting sauce (don't remember the name). We also got garlic naan. It was happy hour so beers were only $3.99 and the beer special tonight was Crux Porter for only $2.50. (HH 5:30-10pm Fri-Sat and a different time duration Sun-Thurs.) I got the Mac and Jack's amber ale. It's a good beer. It took some time for our beers to come out (we had to ask again for them), but we were happy when they did. The curry taco was a curry sauced vegetable and daal mix inside a whole huge big piece of naan! So surpising! It was so much food; more of a burrito than taco. The curry was seasoned just right. The naan was soft and naturally sweet. It is the best deal and so tasty and filling. I want to come back here often to get this curry taco again and again! The hot and sour soup came out in a larger bowl than expected too. It was so tasty and so much better than the super sour, super cornstarch mix you get at Chinese restaurants. I really like it. The chicken 65 biryani was good as well. Came with a hardboiled egg too surprisingly. There were several whole thai chilies mixed in and we both ate some. Wow! It burned our mouths for like another 15 mins. Awesome intense spice. Be careful if you can't handle spice. We like spice but this was even too much for us. The servers were real nice too. We were happy we stumbled upon this restaurant and definitely would come back.

Stopped by for the new menu and the food was great. 65 biryani was delicious and good quantity for the price. The chicken satay was also excellent and the cheap beer ($3 pints at happy hour) was a welcome addition.
